The hottest nightclubs in Dublin

The Irish as famous for their craic, that is, the fun, the entertainment, and enjoyable conversation that you can find almost anywhere in Ireland, but especially in a good nightclub or lounge. The craic is so widespread in Ireland that no weekend, or even day should pass without having some craic. So if you want to have fun the Irish way, here’s what you have to do: dress up, and visit one of the hottest nightclubs in Dublin, the bustling Irish capital.

Alchemy, Fleet Street

Many Dubliners will tell you that Alchemy is the best nightclub in the city, because it’s one of those places that have a mixed crowd of teenagers and young adults. The club has a great atmosphere (plenty of craic to be found here), although it tends to be crowded. If you want a table, you’d better call in advance. Friday nights, when the club is usually packed, you can get delicious cocktail specials for 5 euro. There are lots of music genres playing every night, and the DJs are top-notch.

Club M, Blooms Hotel, Temple Bar

Club M is located at the heart of Dublin’s cultural and arts center, Temple Bar, and it is one of the oldest nightclubs in the city. This huge multi-level venue looks like a sophisticated club, but there’s none of the snobbery and pretentiousness that you find in other similar places. The service is friendly, the cocktails are great, and the music ranges from commercial pop to rock.

The New Bucks Townhouse, Lower Leeson Street

The New Bucks Townhouse is a huge venue with several different areas where you can while the night away. There are our bars with full service on two floors, a very nice terrace, a VIP boudoir (membership required for this one) and a piano bar with live music several times a week. The Master Room, which is the main room of the club, has a very cool dance floor fitted with LED lights.

Krystle, Harcourt Street

For a more laid-back atmosphere with less exuberant (but just as great) craic, visit Krystle Nightclub, an elegant venue for stylish people. The music ranges from  hip-hop, house, funk to rock, with the added advantage of London’s best percussionists who often play live at Krystle. The club has two large bars, and an impressive, fully heated beer garden.

NV Nightclub, Lower Leeson Street

When you enter this club located on the historic Leeson Street, you can hardly imagine the modern, sleek venue that awaits you. The atmosphere is very chic, and like in other similar places, quite relaxed. The lighting is pleasant and intimate, the music is a combo of the latest hits and golden classics. With its looks and music, NV is definitely one of the hottest nightclubs in Dublin.
